The Thayer City Council met on Tuesday evening at City Hall.
The agenda was packed with items, including the Police Department requesting additional funding to purchase new bulletproof vests.
Assistant Police Chief Luke Martin told the council why the already budgeted $11,359.44 is needed.
The council also discussed a SCADA system for the treatment plant.
