Congressman Smith said he wanted to see what shortages his district was experiencing.
A significant shortage right now is baby formula.
A bill was voted down in the US House last week to give additional funding to the FDA in hopes of easing the shortage.
Congressman Smith was one of those that voted no, and we asked why.
We also asked Congressman Smith if there was a solution in sight for the formula shortage.
