
A man will face multiple charges after an accident in Ozark County.
According to crash reports, a 2009 Pontiac G6, driven by 20-year-old Brady Peyton of Silver Cliff, CO was traveling eastbound on County Road 328, three miles southeast of Zanoni, when the vehicle swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, lost control, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree.
Brady was not injured in the crash, but five passengers were.
43-year-old Samuel Deatherage, a 13-year-old male juvenile, and an eight-year-old male juvenile, all of Tecumseh, MO were seriously injured in the crash.
An 11-year-old female juvenile was moderately injured, and a five-year-old female juvenile was minorly injured.
All were taken to a regional hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Arrest records show Brady is charged with three felony counts of driving while intoxicated involving serious physical injuries, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and failing to secure a child less than eight years old in a child restraint.
Brady was taken to the Ozark County Jail, where he was later released.
