A man from Kansas was killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Carter County. The Highway Patrol reports that 71-year-old Michael Beck0ham was killed when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and overturned. The accident happened on U.S. 60 about a mile and a half east of Fremont.
