The Texas County Sheriff’s Office has released new details in the murder-attempted suicide case in Roby. Police say that 52 year old Kenneth Clark forced 56 year old Susan Campbell into a car in the Wal-Mart Parking lot. Investigators say they believe the two were former lovers. Campbell had a restraining order against Clark. Police were called to Walt’s Convenience store in Roby where they found Campbell dead of a gunshot wound and Clark was alive but inured from self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was flown from the scene to a St Louis Hospital in critical condition. Investigators believe Clark rented a car to stalk her and had planned to take her out of the city and kill her.
