The Kansas City Royals were shut out by the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday 5-0. Shohel Ohtani struck out a career-high 13 batters on his way to the shutout. Even though they lost the Royals had their first winning road trip of the year, going 5-and-4 in San Francisco, Oakland, and Anaheim. Kansas City takes a day off today then starts a series at home Friday against Oakland.
