The Howell County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man and woman for stealing catalytic converters. On Tuesday the Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop on US Highway 160 near the intersection of State Route AB. During the stop they arrested 49-year-old Danny Bearden and 38-year-old Melissa Foreman Following a consented search of the vehicle, multiple stolen items were recovered including six catalytic converters, and two license plates from the states of Texas and Missouri, as well as several bank checks. They are being charged with fourteen counts of Stealing – Catalytic Converter with a bond of $15,000 cash or corporate surety each and more charges are expected to come as Bearden is a suspect in multiple cases.
