A Mammoth Spring teen could face charges after a gun was fired during an altercation at the Mammoth Spring City Park. The altercation was between 18-year-old Jared Hurst and several other boys. Hurst allegedly went to his truck took out an AR-15 and fired it twice. No one was injured but Hurst is expected to be charged with aggravated assault. Local authorities say they plan to patrol the area more often in light of the recent event.
