Three people were injured in an accident north of Mountain Grove Tuesday morning. The highway patrol reports that 65-year-old Dallas Montgomery of Camp Arkansas and 52-year-old Tonie Hayes of Jefferson Arkansas both suffered serious injuries and 30-year-old Amanda Decker of Mountain Grove suffered moderate injuries when Decker’s vehicle hit a trailer that was being towed and then hit both Hayes and Montgomery who were standing outside the vehicle. Decker’s vehicle then left the road and overturned. All three were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Decker has been charged with DWI-drugs, Careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, failure to register of state vehicle, and no valid operator’s license. The accident happened on Highway 95, three miles north of Mountain Grove.
