Burn bans remain in effect for several local counties in Arkansas and Missouri. In Arkansas burn bans have been issued for Fulton, Sharp, Izard, Randolph, Lawrence, Independence, and Stone Counties. In Missouri Burn bans have been issued in Howell and Oregon Counties. The bans were issued due to the extremely dry and hot conditions. The burn bans remain in effect until further notice.
