
A Yelleville man has been arrested for stealing a car. Richard Daniel Lackie allegedly borrowed the car from the daughter of a deceased woman and said he would return it in one hour. The car belonged to the deceased woman. Law enforcement found the vehicle in Izard County. The woman driving it had a bill of sale showing she had paid $150 for the vehicle 11 days after Lackie took it. Lackie is facing a felony count of theft of property in connection with the theft of the car. He has other charges after being stopped by the Arkansas State Police including driving on a suspended license and having expired tags. His bond is set at just over $4,900.
