A woman from Elk creek was injured in an accident Wednesday morning in Texas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 24-year-old Coral Breiner suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and hit a tree. Breiner was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway H at Elk Creek.
A woman from Florida was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Texas County. The Highway Patrol says 50-year-old Olga Urrego suffered minor injuries when a car driven by 54-year-old Yohn Sanchez stopped in the roadway to yield for traffic and was hit by a vehicle driving by a 15-year-old juvenile. The vehicle that Sanchez was driving then went off the road and struck a fence. Urrego was a passenger in the Sanchez vehicle. The accident happened on Highway 17 north of Highway AN. Urrego was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
