Two Horseshoe Bend residents were injured in an accident east of Evening Shade on Tuesday. According to reports, 73-year-old Thomas Golden and his wife, 75-year-old Mary Golden were both injured when Thomas Golden lost control of the vehicle he was driving, ran off the road, and struck a tree. Both Thomas and Mary Golden were taken to White River Medical Center in Batesville. The accident happened on Highway 58 east of Evening Shade.
