A Mountain Grove man was injured in an accident east of Mansfield Wednesday night. 55-year-old Gerald Distad suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, and struck an embankment and a culvert. Distad was taken to Cox South in Springfield. He is also charged with DWI & careless and imprudent driving. The accident happened on U.S. 60, eight miles east of Mansfield.
