West Plains Police report the arrest of a suspect this morning who allegedly tried to kick in the door of a residence on Country Club Drive. Police were dispatched to the residence, but before they arrived the suspect had fled the scene, traveling west on Rt CC. Within a couple of hours, the WPPD received calls identifying the suspect. One of the calls came from a citizen who said the suspect was at a business on Trish Knight street. Officers quickly responded to the area where the suspect was taken into custody without incident. No names have been released at this time.
