The Salem Girls and Pocahontas Boys win the Cougar Classic

The 14th annual Cougar Classic High school Golf Tournament wrapped up Wednesday at Cherokee Village South Golf Course.

The Salem Girls and Pocahontas Boys win the championships.

Salem Girls shot a two-day total of 593, Highland was the runner-up with 656, Cave City finished third with 690 and Pocahontas shot 692.

The Top individual score was Salem’s Chloe Taylor with 198, her teammate, Katie Fish was the Runner-up with 199, and Salem’s Madison Busch finished third with 201.

 

The Pocahontas boys won the championship shooting a two-day total of 497, Bay was runner-up with 530, followed by Highland with 548, Salem with 604, Izard County with 623, and Cave City with 675.

The top individual score was Jack Privett from Pocahontas with 164 and Zane Hibbard of Pocahontas was runner-up with 166
