Chiefs cornerback Rashad Fenton returned from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, giving him plenty of time to test out his surgically repaired shoulder and ramp up in training camp before the start of the regular season.

In other news Tuesday, the Chiefs agreed with veteran defensive tackle Danny Shelton on a contract for the coming season. Shelton was a first-round pick of the Browns in 2005 and spent two seasons with the Patriots and one with the Lions before spending last season with the Giants.

Shelton, who has started 72 games and appeared in 100 over his first seven seasons, is expected to rotate with Derrick Nnadi and Tershawn Wharton alongside three-time Pro Bowl tackle Chris Jones in the middle of the defensive line.
