Izard County Chief Deputy Ernie Blackley reports that they have received numerous reports of scams over the phone and internet, including Facebook. He said some of the numbers use to call residents appear to be local, but are actually calling from foreign countries. he said you should never give out personal information over the phone or internet. The information can be used to access your banking accounts and take money or open credit cards in your name.
