A man from Pocahontas was injured in an accident south of Doniphan Saturday afternoon. 60-year-old Daniel Mcalpin suffered moderate injuries when he ran off the road and struck an embankment. The accident happened on Missouri 21, ten miles south of Doniphan. Mcalpin was taken to St Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center.
