On September 18, 2022, the Law Enforcement from the Multi-jurisdictional Task Force conducted an operation in Eastern Douglas County after Deputies received information about the location of two Fugitives, 36-year-old Christopher Mendenhall and 29-year-old Harley Crownover. Crownover of Ava had a Capias No Bond Warrant out of Wright County for Hindering Prosecution and Mendenhall of Ava had a Capias Wright County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Probation Violation).
Both Mendenhall and Crownover are facing additional charges in Douglas County for Possession of Controlled Substance methamphetamine and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also arrested at the time was 25-year-old Justice Wraught of Licking for an active Wright County Warrant for several traffic violations. Wraught has since posted a bond.
