A man from Birch Tree was arrested by the highway patrol Thursday night. 59 year old Paul Norris was arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, driving while revoked, no insurance, failure to display valid plates and no seat belt. Norris was taken to Shannon County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
