Anthony Caplinger was caught around 12:30 this morning trying to enter McDonald’s in Hardy.
The manhunt began Monday when police found a man and woman inside a vacant house on Booth Road. Police learned another man had run from the residence and that he was armed with a small handgun. The man was identified as Caplinger, who fled into the woods off Slayton Road. Caplinger was wanted on multiple warrants from California. He has been taken to the Fulton County Detention Center. Hardy police were assisted in the manhunt by the Sharp and Fulton County Sheriff’s Departments and Highland Police.
