Van Buren will get more than $300,000 to help build a new public safety facility. The Delta Regional Authority reports that Van Buren will get $313,000 to demolish a flood-damaged facility and construct a new one to be used by the police and fire departments. The money is part of a more than $2.1 million investment from the Delta Regional Authority to help boost economic development.
