A Batesville man faces felony charges after an altercation with a doctor and patient at White River Medical Center. 41-year-old Adam Scott Dale is facing one felony charge of second-degree battery; one felony charge of aggravated assault upon a law enforcement officer or correctional facility employee; one misdemeanor charge of second-degree assault; one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct; and one misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. Dale is being held in the Independence County Detention Facility on a bond of $10,000.
