Troop G of the Highway Patrol reports that 73-year-old Linda Unverzage, and 71-year-old Royce Basnett both suffered serious injuries and 40-year-old Tenni-Jo Babic suffered moderate injuries when 72-year-old Kathy Basnett failed to negotiate a curve and overturned the vehicle she was driving. Unverzage and Royce Basnet were both flown to Mercy Hospital in ST Louis. The accident happened on Highway J, three miles west of Black.
