Shayla Briner age 27 of Ava was arrested on a felony Douglas County Warrant for Burglary 1st Degree and unlawful use of a weapon bond was set at $5000 only. The original offense occurred on October 6,2021 in the Goodhope area of Douglas County. The incident was originally investigated by Douglas County Deputy Sam Evans.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court law.
On 10-04-2022 Deputy Scott Dinwiddie arrested Brandi Miller age 41 of Thayer Mo, on an outstanding felony warrant for probation Violation, the original charge of Possession of a controlled substance was a result of a search warrant served in the Steel Bridge area of Douglas County by the MJTF.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 10-5-2022 Shane D. Cassy age 36 of Ava was booked into the Douglas County jail on a warrant for Statutory Sodomy – 2nd Degree. Bond set at 50,000 cash OPEN COURT BOND ONLY. This case is being investigated by Ava PD.

On 10-13-2022 Paul Enos age 49, of Ava was arrested by Chief Overcast on a Douglas County Warrant for Burglary – 2nd Degree his bond is set at $15,000 cash, bond conditions CPS supervision with twice a week drug testing 7pm – 7am curfew.

On 9-23-2022 Richard Beckwith age 51 of Ava was arrested by Deputy Aaron Box for a Douglas County Warrant for Burglary – 2nd Degree his Bond Is set at $15,000 CASH, Bond Conditions CPS supervision with twice a week testing 7pm – 7am curfew. This case is being investigated by Ava PD.

On September 29,2022 Matthew Orum age 31 of West Plains was arrested by Deputy Sam Evans after he conducted a traffic stop on him for expired tags. Orum had active warrants out of Howell and Taney County. Douglas County K-9 Kain alerted on his vehicle for illegal narcotics. A search resulted in the seizure of Methamphetamine and syringes being seized Bond was set at $2500 cash.
