A Theodosia Woman will go to trial January 28th through February 1st in Taney County on murder charges. 40 year old Rebecca Ruud is charged the July 2017 murder of her daughter, 16 year old Savannah Leckie. Rudd and 31 year old Robert Peat Jr both face charges of 1st degree murder, second degree murder, abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, abandonment of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Peat will be back in court on October 16th for a pretrial conference, his trial date has not yet been set.
