The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to serve as bell ringers to collect donations for the annual Red Kettle drive. If you can help, please call Larry Sisson in Thayer at 817-706-1896 or Charles Trantham in Alton at 417-270-0097. They are short on volunteers and really need your help. They are ringing bells for Salvation Army at Harps in Thayer and Alton, Walmart in Thayer and Hirsch Feed in Thayer through Christmas eve. A non-profit organization in the area, called Buildings for Babies has agreed to MATCH up to $1000 each Saturday for every donation made to the Salvation Army kettles in Thayer and Alton on the following Saturdays: (December 10th, December 17th, and December 24th) So, please give generously as all the donations stay in this area. Your donation, no matter the amount, will be matched in this great cause. Don’t pass up those kettles when you go shopping. Help Salvation Army so they can help others.
