The Thayer Lady Bobcats lost to #2 ranked Strafford Friday night 59-56. Hadley Meyer led the Lady Bobcats with 22 points and Abby Bowers had 14 points. The Lady Bobcats travel to Flippin Arkansas this afternoon to play the Harrison Lady Goblins in the Billy Ply Classic. Tip-off is at 5:45
The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears hosted Marked Tree on Friday and split the senior games. The Lady Bears beat Marked Tree 69-52. Brynn Washam scored 32 points to lead MS, and Tay Davis and Adrianna Corbitt had 12 points each. The Bears lost to Marked Tree 63-48. Gavin Boddie led the Bears with 10 points. The Bears and Lady Bears are both playing in the Marvin Newton Classic at Viola today. The Bears play Marshall at 5:30 and then the Girls play Marshall at 6:45
