A Gainesville woman was arrested by the Highway Patrol Thursday afternoon in Howell County. 51 year old Sharon Ashmead was arrested for felony possession of controlled substance, meth, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and no insurance. She was cited and released.
