52-year-old Aaron Meier of Ava was arrested for making a terroristic threat. He allegedly threatened to burn down the courthouse. He is scheduled to be in court on Friday.
Julie Coonts was arrested Tuesday on a Douglas County warrant for hindering prosecution of a felony. The charges stem from Douglas County Deputies attempting to apprehend Jeffery Brookes and Coonts provided assistance to Brookes to aid in him avoiding apprehension.
