A man was arrested Monday night in Black Rock after a standoff with police. Authorities received a 911 call from a woman Monday night saying that a man had threatened her and held a machete to her throat. When officers arrived the man was allegedly found at a residence but refused to surrender, threatening to harm himself. If they approached. The standoff lasted for several hours and at one point officers tried using a taser but that did not work. The man was finally arrested early Tuesday morning. No names have been released at this time.
