One of the six women accused of abuse or neglect of a child at the Ozark Horizon school was in court last week for a disposition hearing. Vernetta Burgess is charged with abuse or neglect of a child and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk. The six were charged for their treatment of a 13-year-old child with autism. The hearing last week was continued until march 9th in Howell County.
