37-year-old James Barnes of Mountain Home and 54-year-old Dempsy Thompson of Norfork were both injured when Thompson attempted to cross the highway at a green light and was hit by te vehicle that Barnes was driving. Both men were taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Sheid Hopper Bypass at Charles Blackburn Drive. Barnes was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
