A Norfork man gets 5 years in prison for violating terms and conditions of his probation. 30 year old Heath Lindsey was on probation after pleading guilty in March to threatening his father-in-law with a handgun. The incident happened on Christmas Eve in 2016.   When Lindsey was sentenced in the case involving the threat to his in-laws, 14th Judicial District Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kerry Chism said the relatives did not want to prosecute Lindsey, but the state chose to proceed with the case. Chism told Judge John Putman the plea would make Lindsey a convicted felon, making it illegal for him to be around firearms. In June, Lindsey was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his probation by being a felon in possession of a firearm.
