A man from Springfield was injured in a Tractor Trailer accident in Howell County Tuesday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 52-year-old Jason Simonian suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on U.S. 63, a tenth of a mile south of County Road 9030. Simonian was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
A 14-year-old boy was injured in a Motorcycle accident in Ozark County on Tuesday. The highway patrol reports that the boy suffered serious injuries when he crossed the center of the roadway and hit a truck driven by 59-year-old Charlie Bailey of Gainesville, Head-on. The boy was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on county road 154, one-mile southeast of Brixey.
A woman from Gatewood was injured in a Motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in Butler County. The Highway Patrol says that 60-year-old Sheila Tanner suffered minor injuries when she attempted to exit a motorcycle while it was still in motion. Tanner was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on RT KK, two miles south of Wappapello.
