According to the Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle stopped in the center of Highway 202 to talk to the occupants of another vehicle. The people in the other vehicle got out and started walking across the highway when a third vehicle did not see them and hit them. Two pedestrians were hit by the vehicle and were taken from the scene to an area Hospital but one of them died as a result of the injuries. At this time no names have been released.
