
On Wednesday the Arkansas Department of Commerce awarded more than $53 million to 10 internet providers in Arkansas to extend High-Speed internet services. NEXT powered by North Arkansas Electric Cooperative will get $2,151,269. The money is part of the Arkansas Rural Connect Grant Program which is administered by the Arkansas State Broadband Office Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders says ensuring that Arkansas families have access to reliable, affordable, high-speed internet is one of the highest priorities of her administration.
