The Highway Patrol reports that a 16-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries when she tried to avoid an animal in the roadway, traveled off the road, and struck a rock, a tree, and a fence. The girl was taken to Ozarks Health Care. The accident happened on Highway 142, 3 miles south of Caulfield.
