Deadly storms ripped through southeast Missouri early Wednesday morning. 5 people died and several more were injured in storms in Bollinger County. Glenallen and Marble Hill communities were the hardest hit and recovery efforts continue. Locally there was some damage reported in Sharp County Wednesday morning. Barns were destroyed and the roof of a shop building was torn off, some homes were damaged and a church was also damaged. The damage in Sharp County was in the Sidney area. Elsewhere there were reports of trees and tree limbs down and power outages.
