
FAYETTEVILLE AR—After one tremendous season in Fayetteville, Arkansas freshman point guard Anthony Black has declared for the 2023 NBA Draft, he announced today on ESPN. He joins Nick Smith Jr, Ricky Council IV, and Devonte David as Razorbacks who have entered the draft.
Black — who earned All-SEC second-team and SEC All-Freshman team honors — is widely projected as a first round lottery pick in this summer’s NBA Draft.
FAYETTEVILLE AR–Temple basketball transfer Khalif Battle committed to Arkansas Wednesday. Battle, a star for the Owls, averaged 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game this past season while shooting 35% from 3-point range before leaving the team late in the year. The 6-foot-5, 175-pound guard is the No. 12 player in the 247Sports Transfer Portal Rankings and will have at least one year of eligibility remaining.
