The West Plains School District presents two staff awards each year – the Educator of the Year and the Zizzer Champion of the Year. Teachers and staff all across the West Plains School District educate and empower kids of all ages. The school asked parents, students, colleagues, and community members to tell them which teachers and staff have made a difference in their lives or their children’s lives. The district received several excellent nominations, narrowing the list to the Top 2. Tuesday morning, they congratulated the 2023 Educator and Zizzer Champion of the Year. Congratulations to the Zizzer Champion of the Year, Kenny Baker, district maintenance, and Educator of the Year, Angela Phipps, West Plains Elementary 4th Grade Teacher. 🎉 🎈
