A Mountain Home man was in court Thursday and enter a guilty plea to being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to reports the the firearm, is allegedly the one he used to shoot himself in the back of the head. 38 year old Lee Euler III allegedly shot himself in the head then call the Sheriff’s office, they found him on a trail in a wooded area between Denton Road and the White River. The Sheriff said the wound was superficial. Euler was airlifted to a Springfield hospital. Euler had a felony conviction in Illinois making it illegal for him to have a firearm. Euler was given two years probation.
