The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man from Wideman on multiple charges.

On Saturday,  deputies with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to 37-year-old Joshua Cagle, being passed out in front of a residence in Calico Rock.
Upon arrival, deputies located Cagle in a vehicle slumped over the steering wheel with the odor of illicit narcotics present and visible. Hypodermic syringes, with a liquid, and four and a half counterfeit Fentanyl pills were located in Cagle’s pocket. During a probable cause search approximately one-half ounce of Methamphetamine, Xanax pills, and Buprenorphine pills. Marijuana and a Bersa .380 pistol were also located in a bag inside the vehicle. Cagle has been charged with Possession of Fentanyl with the purpose to deliver is a class “A” felony, Possession with the purpose to deliver Methamphetamine, if more than 10 grams but less than 200 grams is a class “A” Felony, Possession with the purpose to deliver a schedule III controlled substance is a class “C” Felony, Possession with the purpose to deliver a schedule IV controlled substance is a class “D” felony, Possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to inject Methamphetamine is a class “D” felony, Simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms is a class “Y” felony, Felon in possession of a firearm is a class “D” felony, and Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance if less than 4 ounces is a class “A” misdemeanor.
