The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man from Ava. 42-year-old James Shea was arrested on charges of two counts of domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,500. A no-bond warrant was also issued for Shae for violating the terms of his parole.
The Sheriff’s Department also reports the arrest of an Ava man on drug charges. 31-year-old Alexander Wycka is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations. His bond was set at $2,500
A man from Squires was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department on drug charges. 54-year-old Keith Allen is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 Additional charges were added for Allen including delivery of a controlled substance, felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The bond was set at $25,000
