North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members served by the Many Islands Substation will experience an outage on the evening of May 10. The planned outage will begin at 8 p.m. and last approximately 1.5 hours. It is necessary so that personnel safely can change a substation regulator and replace a pole. A total of 1,235 members near and south of Mammoth Spring and in the Many Islands areas will be affected; this includes most between Highway 289 North and U.S. Highway 63. Affected members received a call at the number NAEC has on file on the morning of May 8.
