A man from Ava has been arrested after he allegedly climbed a tree and broke into a woman’s house in Ozark County. 47 year old Darrell Gunter allegedly entered the house and waited with her firearm for her to enter the room. Gunter is charged with first degree burglary, stalking and armed criminal action. He is being held on $100,000 cash-only bond. Gunter had been arrested back in August for violating an order of protection, which ordered Gunter to not have any contact with the woman. He was banned from being on the premises or within 120 feet of the woman’s house.
