Arkansas, Arkansas State & Missouri announce the start time for first three Football games for 2023

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorbacks will kick off the 2023 season inside War Memorial Stadium in their first meeting against Western Carolina at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 2, on SECN+/ESPN+.

The Razorbacks will play their first of six home games inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium vs. Kent State at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, on SEC Network. It’ll be the first meeting between the Hogs and the Flashes. Wrapping up their two-game homestand, Arkansas hosts BYU at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, on ESPN2. The Cougars will make their first trip to Fayetteville.

 

COLUMBIA, Mo. – ESPN announced a pair of University of Missouri football home game times as the network released its slate for the first three weeks of the 2023 season.

Mizzou will face Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. CT inside Memorial Stadium, with the game being simulcast on ESPN+ and SEC Network+. The following week, MU faces longtime rival Kansas State on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. on SEC Network.

The networks previously announced two additional game times – for the season opener against South Dakota on Thursday, Aug. 31 (7 p.m. / SEC Network) and the Black Friday game at Arkansas on Nov. 24 (3 p.m. / CBS).

• Thursday, Aug. 31 – vs. South Dakota, 7 p.m. (SEC Network)
• Saturday, Sept. 9 – vs. Middle Tennessee, 6 p.m. CT (SECN+ / ESPN+)
• Saturday, Sept. 16 – vs. Kansas State, 11 a.m. CT (SEC Network)
• Friday, Nov. 24 – at Arkansas, 3 p.m. CT (CBS)

 

 

JONESBORO, Ark. (5/31/23) – With the 2023 Arkansas State football season less than 100 days away, kickoff times and television designations were announced Wednesday for the Red Wolves first three contests of the year.

The Red Wolves will begin their third season under head coach Butch Jones with a third all-time meeting against Oklahoma but then play three-straight home games in the month of September for the first time in school history.

A-State visits Oklahoma on Sept. 2 for an 11:00 a.m. kickoff with a nationally televised game on ESPN following College GameDay.

The Red Wolves begin the home slate hosting Memphis on Sept. 9. The Red Wolves play their 62nd all-time game versus Memphis with kickoff at 6:00 p.m. and the broadcast airing on ESPN+. Ahead of the conference opener against Southern Miss on Sept. 23, A-State hosts Stony Brook at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 16 with the game broadcast on ESPN+.
