LAWRENCE, Kan. — Missouri State’s 2023 football season opener at Kansas has been moved back a day to Friday, Sept. 1, the host school announced June 8.

The game will still kick off at 7 p.m. (Central) and air on ESPN+ and Big 12 Now streaming services.

The change was made to help accommodate an update in KU’s Sept. 8 contest against Illinois, which will now move to a nationally-televised game.
