A Small plane crashed Sunday in Gassville

Authorities in Baxter County are reporting that nobody was injured in a small plane crash in Gassville. According to reports the plane crashed on a private airstrip near Houser Ave. Sunday night just before 8 o’clock. The pilot, Doug Harrison told authorities that he attempted to avoid round hay bales and the left wing hit an electrical pole. The plane was on the ground at the time of the crash. Harrison and a passenger, Tamara Harrison both escaped injured.  The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation and Safety Board are investigating the crash.
